高端外国专家申请《外国专家短期来华邀请函》办事指南
（用于申请访问签证）
外国专家来华停留时间不超过 90 天（含），视为访问、交流、考察，属短期外国专家。驻外签证机关凭设区的市级（含）以上外国专家主管部门签发的邀请函，为其办理在华停留时间不超过 90 天（含）的访问（ F 字）签证。
l 申请人基本条件
符合《外国人来华工作分类标准（试行）》中的外国高端人才（A类），有明确的来华工作任务，有详细的在华活动日程，有充足的费用保障外国专家来华。

注：
1、 审核通过后由办理机关签发《外国专家来华邀请函》，外国专家持来华邀请函申请 F 字签证（停留时间不超过90天），入境后无需办理工作类居留证件。
2、审批期限：10-15个工作日（以提交完整并符合要求的材料为准）。
Application Guide for Short-term Foreign Experts Invitation Letter
（for F Visa Application）
Short-term foreign experts refer to those who stay in China for a term of no more than 90 days, making visits, exchanges, and investigation, etc. They can apply for visas in overseas embassy or consulate of China with the invitation letters issued by the Chinese administration of foreign experts at or above the municipal level.
● Basic Requirements for Applicants
High-end foreign talents (Category A) with specific work tasks, detailed work schedules and sufficient financial support during their stay in China.

Remarks:
1. Foreign experts can apply for visas in overseas embassy or consulate of China with the invitation letters issued by the Chinese administration of foreign experts at or above the municipal level.Foreign experts do not need to apply for work class residence permit after entry into China with F visas (less than 90 days of period of stay).
2. Time required for examination and approval: 10 working days (after submitting qualified materials).
